VTS Unit Presentation

  1. Hi!

I love that you have a similar big idea as Derrick but approach it differently to accommodate the younger grouping. I also like the variation in emphasis... Did you two talk much about your units and groups and the differences in the age groups and how that affected VTS choices? Did you ever VTS together? You both had the one image in common.... that could be interesting... sorry always imagining...
The dialogue between two beasts is fabulous! What a fantastic idea! I love this and can see myself using something like his with my own students. I also think the vocab list on the board is a great idea.... there as a reminder. Did it stay up though out all of the VTS sessions, or did you create a new one each time. Be interesting to see how dynamic of a list you cold have by the end if they are encouraged to come up with new ones, or also see how they used the same one in different context (might be too much to link word usage??LOLOL)
I love the images, and the progression of images, especially the final one with only the prints in the snow. Ominous! I can see why your students had so much to say! I think sometimes we just have to put the breaks on and dive deeper into a single comment. I know I’ve had to do that (much to the chagrin of my orators) many times in my VTS sessions.
I think with all you were trying to accomplish with your group, it looks like you had a marvelous time and were very successful! Kudos to you!
